D.A. Kelly Long Distance Series

This series is always a blast! The big cats really get to stretch their legs & the Paper Tigers seem to always have a battle on any day.

Previously we have raced, up to tehe airport, along Seven Mile Beach to Dodges Ferry, back to the airport, back to the club, & then off to Mays Point & return.

Course will highly depend on the wind, rescue boats available & equipment onboard your boats e.g. most of the F18's hold VHF radio's & EPIRB's in which case they may be able to sail to further locations. 

Race committee will confirm the course on the day at the breifing. 

REMEMBER - the Long Distance Series starts 30 minutes earlier than normal at 1:00 pm!

Day Schedule:

Junior Training - 9:00 am

Race Breifing - Senior & Youth Sailors - 12:00 pm

Racing - Senior & Youth Sailors - 1:00 pm 

- Course will depend on weather & wind conditions. 1 race only per day, mass start to apply.
